India gets Oppo A6x 5G: Starting at Rs12,499, dual SIM phone, HD+ display, 13MP rear camera, 5MP selfie cam, 5G support, ColorOS 15.

The unveiling of Oppo's new smartphone, the Oppo A6x 5G, took place in India on Tuesday by the Chinese smartphone manufacturer Oppo. The device can be bought right away from online or offline stores, such as Amazon, Flipkart, and the official Oppo India store.
The phone is available in different RAM/storage configurations and two colors, Ice Blue and Olive Green, with a price tag of Rs12,499 for the entry-level variant of 4GB RAM/64GB storage. Also, the next version with 4GB RAM/128GB storage sells for Rs13,499. Meanwhile, the flagship model with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage comes at Rs14,999. Additionally, there is an option of bi-monthly or monthly payment without interest for three months with the help of certain bank cards.
Advanced operating system Android 15 is running on the Oppo A6x 5G and it is layered with ColorOS 15 which also provides dual SIM support. The smartphone is equipped with a 6.75-inch LCD display featuring HD+ (720x1,570 pixels) resolution, a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz, a touch sampling rate of 240Hz, a pixel density of 256ppi, and a peak brightness of 1,125 nits. The display is said to cover 83% of DCI-P3 colour gamut, 100% of sRGB, and supports 16.7 million colours.
Going deeper inside, the gadget is fuelled by the octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor combined with the ARM Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. The device has 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of UFS2.2 storage. The hibernated gadgets are a proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, E-compass, and accelerometer. A mounted fingerprint scanner and facial recognition are among the security features.
A 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, 77-degree FOV, and autofocus is the main camera of the phone. It can record videos in 1080p at 60fps. For the purpose of selfies and video calls, there is a 5-megapixel front camera with f/2.2 aperture, a 77-degree FOV, and the capability of 1080p video recording at 30fps.
The smartphone is obtainable from today onwards at various online marketplaces and some selected physical retail stores. Customers can pick either Ice Blue or Olive Green color finishes based on the stock.
